Emellie O’Brien, Earth Angel’s CEO, joins the management team and becomes Chief Impact Manager of the entire group. Together, we will elevate sustainable production to a whole new future – integrating decades of expertise from Earth Angel with TheGreenShot’s digital platform, to deliver very precise, data based knowledge on which to base every decision and adjust every process.
This approach not only meets current needs but also anticipates future challenges, offering a robust, scalable solution for the entertainment industry’s decarbonization transition.
Earth Angel is one of Hollywood’s leading sustainable production services agencies. It advises studios, producers and others in the entertainment industry on reducing their carbon footprint and waste. The agency has worked on over 180 productions, including feature films, TV series, commercials and live events.
Among its best-known productions that have crossed the Atlantic are Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon (2023), studio A24’s The Whale (2022; Best Actor Oscar for Brendan Fraser), the AppleTV+ series Severance (2022), and The Amazing Spiderman 2 (2014), reputed to be the most eco-friendly blockbuster in Sony Pictures’ history.
Thanks to the advice provided by its fifteen experts, Earth Angel has avoided over 16,000 tonnes of CO2 and 19 million tonnes of waste since its creation in 2013.
